Business Development Associate (Entry-Level)

About the Role

Pretera is looking for a proactive, organised person to help drive our day-to-day business development activity.

You’ll be hands-on from the start: identifying potential clients and partners, preparing outreach, following up on conversations and keeping our CRM up to date. You’ll help ensure promising leads keep moving and the Business Development team is prepared for every meeting.

We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, follows through and is keen to learn by doing.

What You’ll Do

• Research companies, contacts and potential partners that could be a good fit for Pretera.
• Prepare and send personalised outreach through LinkedIn and email.
• Track replies, schedule follow-ups and help move conversations forward.
• Keep contact details, activity and next steps accurate in our CRM.
• Prepare short company and contact briefs before meetings.
• Research relevant events, networking opportunities and market developments.
• Help prepare presentations, marketing materials and simple LinkedIn content.
• Track outreach activity and share what is getting responses.
• Take ownership of recurring tasks and suggest ways to improve our approach.
• Support other business development activities as the team’s priorities evolve.

What We’re Looking For

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisation and follow-through.
• Good English
• Comfort using LinkedIn and online research tools.
• Curiosity about business development, technology or cybersecurity.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Previous experience is not required. Your initiative, reliability and ability to get things done matter most.
