Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful implementation of various internal and external cybersecurity projects. As a Project Manager at Pretera, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including offensive security experts, supporting teams, and management. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. You will also manage the relationship with the clients during the project execution phase. 

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of internal and external (cybersecurity) projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, set milestones, and allocate resources.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and adjust schedules and priorities as needed.
• Team Leadership:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, responsibilities, and timelines to all involved parties.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide continuous update on progress of the projects to the management team 
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on project progress, milestones, and any risks or changes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and ensure client satisfaction.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks or challenges throughout the project lifecycle, proactively finding solutions.
  • Implement strategies for risk mitigation and ensure that projects adhere to budget constraints and quality standards.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates to the management, delivering insights into project performance, resource needs, and timeline adjustments.
  • Oversee the documentation of project outcomes and lessons learned, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
• Process Development & Improvement:
  • Help refine internal processes to ensure efficiency in project delivery.
  • Contribute to the creation of project templates, workflows, and documentation that standardize best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within a technical or cybersecurity-focused environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical members.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and offensive security practices is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in project management tools 
• Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications are desirable but not required.
