The Opportunity:
We are looking for motivated students and motivated professionals with IT backgrounds to join our Offensive Security Internship Program. This internship is designed to provide a structured entry point into offensive cybersecurity through guided learning, hands-on practice, and close mentorship. Interns will develop foundational penetration testing skills, learn industry-standard methodologies, and gain exposure to real-world security workflows.
The Role:
- Practice foundational offensive security techniques in a controlled, structured environment
- Work through guided web application security labs and technical challenges
- Develop a deep understanding of penetration testing and vulnerability analysis
- Assist with penetration testing activities (shadowing or delivery support) under supervision
- Perform vulnerability identification and validation
- Use common offensive security tools under guidance (e.g., Burp Suite, nuclei, etc.)
- Maintain structured notes documenting methodology, findings, and observations
- Write clear proof-of-concept (PoC) descriptions and short technical summaries
Internship Structure:
This internship is delivered in two phases:
Phase One – Online Internship (6 weeks, Remote)
A self-paced learning phase focused on web application security fundamentals, testing methodology, and professional documentation, supported by regular mentor check-ins. The phase concludes with a technical assessment and written report.
Phase Two – On-Site Internship (4 weeks, Prishtina)
High-performing interns advance to an on-site phase that includes a bootcamp session followed by supervised penetration testing tasks, with a strong focus on reporting quality and depth of testing.
Advancement to Phase Two is performance-based.
Interns are expected to:
- Demonstrate a strong interest in offensive security and ethical hacking
- Show foundational IT knowledge (networking, operating systems, web basics)
- Follow structured testing and documentation processes
- Communicate clearly in written English
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Act professionally and collaboratively within a team environment
- Participate in mentor check-ins and act on technical feedback
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly and professionally
Essential Skills:
- Basic understanding of networking and operating system concepts
- Familiarity with HTTP, web applications, and common security concepts
- Exposure to Linux and command-line environments
- Basic scripting or programming exposure (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
- Ability to learn independently in a structured, self-paced environment
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
